3 Lions
In the promo for 3 lions it based on England playing in the European championships in 1996. The video is known for the line its coming home. This is famous as football was originally made in England so fans around the country want England to win an international tournament for football to come home.
The setting of the video is based in typical 90s fashion and his style is based off oasis and blur and similar indie artists at the time. The video is very typical English and appeals to the mainstream audience. In the first clip they are watching England play on the old fashioned television and they zoom out from the football clip to them in the living room watching the game. They are doing common people things like going to a pub and making a tea.
The video is used for football fans to sing or play when the national team comes to play. This therefore opens opportunities to make new versions when needed to. There isn't many special effects in this music video as it is quite dated however they use props and some basic camera angles and effects to make it feel warm and like a community video.
The camera angles in the video are often at eye level and stay close to the two main people in the video as this shows that they are on the same level and the camera man almost acts as a third person in the video.
This is a music video so the music in it is a song made by them and it is the video that is advertising the sound. This means that the video must tie along with the song to make the song remain remembered.
The camera then pans to what seems to be the other room but ends up being a different house with a dog and two elderly people. They have used dogs and children and elderly to make the audience feel bad for the people affected. Makes the viewers think about being safer around fires as it could happen to anyone and everyone.
This advert not only shows that everyone can make a mistake and cause a fire but also the ways in which fires are caused. This advert works very well with smoothly transitioning between different scenes in a light way whilst conveying quite a serious message. The last part of this advertisment shows yet another incident where fire has taken over a house however at the end it cuts back to the original kitchen showing how fast the fire progressed. The last scene shows the letter from the child to the father instilling the sense of sadness.
